SPIRITAN UNIVERSITY NNEOCHI (SUN) APPOINTS THREE (3) NEW ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS AND PROMOTES 17 ACADEMIC AND NON-ACADEMIC STAFF

The Spiritan University Nneochi Governing Council, at its First Annual Appraisal and Promotion Exercise, has appointed Dr. Ezeamama Martin, Rev. Fr. Dr. Enwerem Iheanyi Maurice (OP) and Dr. Akubuilo Francis as Associate Professors of Banking & Finance, Political Science and Business Administration respectively.

Dr. Ezeamama Martin’s appointment was dated November 27, 2021 while those of Rev. Fr. Dr. Enwerem Iheanyi Maurice and Dr. Akubuilo Francis were backdated to September 28, 2020 and October 5, 2020 respectively.

Dr. Ezeamama joined the services of the University on October 24, 2018 as a Senior Lecturer and was appointed as the Head of the Department of Banking & Finance and Dean, Faculty of Arts, Management and Social Sciences on February 12, 2019.

The Council of the University also approved the promotion of, and consequently promoted 17 other academic and non-academic staff of the University to various levels and cadres: Senior Lecturers (2); Lecturer I (5); Lecturer II (7); Personal I (1); Executive Officer (1) and Administrative Officer (1).

The Vice-Chancellor, Very Rev Fr Prof Remy N Onyewuenyi, CSSp, announced these promotions of those who complied with the requirements at the 18th Senate Meeting of the University held on November 30, 2021.

The University Community heartily congratulates each and every one of them and wishes them more meritorious years ahead.
