Spiritan University Nneochi (SUN) Welcomes a Delegation from Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit, Pittsburgh, USA

Spiritan University Nneochi played host to a delegation from Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA on Friday, 16 May, 2025. The delegation was at the University to explore a more lasting mutual academic collaboration between the two universities in the areas of research, joint programmes, staff and student exchanges. The interactions with staff and students were warm and very encouraging. We are optimistic that something will come out of the visit and interactions.

On the Duquesne University delegation were Dr. Mrs. Kristine Blair, Dean of McAnulty College of Liberal Arts; Dr. James Bailey, Department Chair and Associate Professor, Theology; Rev. Fr. Prof. Bede Ukwuije, CSSp, Professor of Theology, Duquesne University and President SIST Governing Council; Very Rev. Fr. Sixtus Adejoh, CSSp, Provincial Superior, Nigeria North-West; and Very Rev. Fr. Dr. John Uche Asomugha, CSSp, Rector Spiritan International School of Theology, Attakwu, Enugu, Nigeria.

On hand with the Vice-Chancellor of SUN, Very Rev. Fr. Prof. Remy N. Onyewuenyi, CSSp to welcome and interact with the Duquesne University team were Rev. Fr. Dr. Jerome O.
